Building A Global Innovation Base
The Station Ai Project refers to the startup support measures implemented for the aim of forming a global innovation center by combining startup ecosystem networks both in Japan and abroad. Scheduled to open in 2024, Station AI will be a world-first, top-notch central support base providing a one-stop, one-loop link to world-class startup support programs through liaison with leading-edge startup support bodies and universities.
Central Support Base

2. Concept
Help to create, nurture, and encourage overseas expansion of outstanding local startups, and attract excellent human resources by summoning influential startups from around the world.
By facilitating exchange between startups and local monozukuri companies, etc., aim to become a new, all-inclusive base.
3. BT+ Concession
In accordance with the Act on Promotion of Private Finance Initiatives (PFI), after designing and constructing a facility based on the entrepreneur’s own proposal, ownership of the facility is transferred to Aichi Prefecture (build transfer) to enable operation with a higher degree of freedom based on the public facility, etc. concession method stipulated in Article 2 (6) of the PFI Act.

Powerful Support for Startups
In January 2020, the Early Support Center was opened at WeWork Global Gate Nagoya (Nakamura ward, Nagoya city).
Until the Central Support Base, Station Ai, is opened, Aichi Startup One-stop Center will operate out of the Early Support Center. Under a General Manager, the Center provides startups with business support, consulting services, etc.
Eligibility
Residents of the Early Support Base, startups participating in software support projects run by the prefectural government, startups wishing to take up residency in Station Ai, etc., entrepreneurs aiming to establish a startup in Aichi prefecture.
Services
Provision of office space, matching support, mentoring, support for participation in projects by Aichi Prefectural Government, etc., financing, business launch support, etc.
